One person, three crafts

I write music, engrave it, and put it on screen. No studio overhead, no account manager, no deadline that moves after you sign. You talk to the person doing the work — and every service below links to the actual output, so you can check the work before you enquire.

  • Remote · worldwide
  • Source files included
  • Revisions agreed up front

What I do

Three services. They overlap more than you'd expect — a transcribed chart usually wants a rehearsal recording, and a music video usually wants a mastered master.

01

Transcription & engraving

Charts that a band can actually read — parts in the right order, correct transpositions, and rehearsal audio so the drummer learns it before the first downbeat.

  • From audio, or from a MIDI transcription
  • Full-score PDF + per-part PDFs
  • Multi-track MIDI and a rehearsal mix
  • Muted backing versions (no trumpet / no sax)

02

Music production

Recording, arranging and mastering for artists who want a finished record, not a folder of stems. Horn and rhythm-section writing is the strength; everything else gets an honest answer about whether I'm the right person.

  • Arranging and horn writing
  • Recording and editing
  • Mix and master
  • Mastered files plus the session

03

Audio-reactive video

Music videos driven by the track rather than by hand. The engine reads BPM and onsets and reacts; you keep the editable set, so a revision is a slider, not a re-render.

  • Audio-reactive visuals and motion
  • Vertical edits for social
  • Still frames and cover art
  • Editable templates, not flattened video

What you get

Every job ends with files, not a private folder that disappears when the invoice clears.

Printable score PDF

Vector, A4, engraved — not an image of a score.

Per-part PDFs

Split by instrument, in band order, correctly transposed.

Rehearsal audio

Full arrangement, plus a demo and muted backing tracks.

Session MIDI

Multi-track, editable — reopens in any DAW or notation program.

Mastered audio

Release-ready, plus the unmastered mix for comparison.

Editable video set

The .swr-set template, so revisions are yours to make.

How it goes

  1. You send the source. A recording, a MIDI file, a reference track, or two sentences and a humming — whichever you have.
  2. You get a scope. What's included, what it costs, how long, and how many revisions. Fixed before any work starts.
  3. You get a first pass. Enough to judge the direction, not a finished thing you'll feel obliged to approve.
  4. Files land. Everything in the deliverables list above, in your format, with the editable sources.

Look before you write

None of this is private work — it's all on this site.

Get in touch

Tell me what you're making.

A sentence is enough to start — what the piece is, roughly when it's due, and whether you have audio yet. If it's not something I do well I'll say so and point you at someone who is.
