SWR Visualizers · The launch plan that turns songs into video revenue

01 · Why this works

Five things you can already sell.

You're not pitching an unfinished creative tool — you're selling a finished MP4 an artist can post today. SWR already does the work that takes After Effects artists hours and stock-footage subscriptions real money.

∿

Audio-reactive

Visuals driven by five frequency bands, adaptive beat detection, and onset events.

▶

Auto MP4 export

Native H.264 + AAC encoding in Chrome and Safari. No ffmpeg, no server.

⟳

10s to full song

10-, 15-, 30-, 60-second, or full-song recordings with one click.

✦

Five visual styles

Neon, Film, Grid, Smoke, Hallucination — each with its own mood.

⌬

Browser-only

No install. No plugins. No learning curve. The artist just sends the audio.

02 · Curated Sets

Five pre-built media sets. Pick a vibe.

Each set is a hand-picked bundle of clips and stills from the SWR library, tuned to a specific aesthetic. You don't upload assets — you pick a mood, send your song, and get a finished MP4.

Neon Church

electric · club · urban · 8 assets

Morning Haunt

nostalgic · indie · lo-fi · 8 assets

Brutalist Grid

hard geometry · monochrome · 8 assets

Dream Sequence

blur · haze · slow · 7 assets

System Error

glitch · chaos · RGB · 10 assets

Custom Source = you provide your own footage + photos, I blend them with one SWR set. Same 48h turnaround, €55.

03 · Your customers

People who need a video and have no budget for one.

Your strongest initial niche is independent musicians and producers — SWR directly converts their existing audio into promotional content they would otherwise skip. But the customer list is wider than that.

Indie musicians Releasing a single this quarter. Best fit

Beatmakers Selling beats on BeatStars / Airbit.

DJs Promoting mixes and upcoming events.

Small labels Local imprints releasing 3-10 artists / year.

Mgmt agencies Visual content for their roster.

Podcast creators Audio → short video clips for socials.

YouTube music Channels publishing track breakdowns.

Local artists Belgrade / regional scene — no video budget. Best fit

Audio-only Anyone with a finished track and a release date. Best fit

Sound designers Showcasing sample packs and presets.

Belgrade / Serbian indie artists Local releases, no video budget, fast turnaround. Best fit

Regional labels (Ex-Yu) Zagreb, Ljubljana, Sarajevo, Skopje imprints with 3–10 artists / year.

Yugo-revival producers Late-Yugoslav sound beat tapes, lo-fi sample packs, nostalgia-driven releases.

04 · Pricing

One song. How many sets?

Pricing depends on how many curated sets you want access to for your render. Start with one. Upgrade to two for an A/B test. Go full rotation and get all five looks to pick from. No subscription, no platform lock-in.

07 · The €0 launch

You can launch this this week.

Five things, all free, no accounts, no databases, no subscription backend. Process the first orders manually and watch what people keep asking for — that tells you what to build next.

1

Hosting

Deploy the static build on GitHub Pages, Cloudflare Pages, or Netlify's free tier. The whole dist/ folder is 82 MB and serves from a CDN.

€0

2

Landing page

Your existing landing.html is already the public homepage. This campaign.html is the long-form sales doc. market-study.html is the gated PDF teaser.

€0

3

Payments

Start with Stripe Payment Links, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, or a plain invoice. No need to wire a checkout into the site yet. You can swap to a real processor once the order volume justifies it.

€0

4

Delivery

Accept audio through Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or a basic upload form. Deliver the finished MP4 the same way. You're the file pipeline for the first 50 customers. That's fine.

€0

5

Portfolio

Create five sample videos using different genres: jazz, hip-hop, ambient, electronic, and rock. These are the demos you send before anyone pays you anything. Without them, nothing else moves.

€0

You don't need accounts, databases, subscriptions, user dashboards, cloud rendering, or an upload backend at the beginning. The first ten orders should be you, manually, on email.

08 · The order flow

Three steps. 48 hours.

Manual fulfillment, not platform complexity. The system is: send song, pick style, receive MP4. Everything else is overhead.

1

Send the song

Drop a WeTransfer, Drive, or Dropbox link. WAV or MP3. Tell me which style fits the mood and the format you need (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).

2

I render two options

I tune the engine to the song, render the visualizer in 10s, 15s, 30s, 60s, or full-song length, and send you two takes so you can pick a direction.

3

Delivery

You get the final MP4 in all requested aspect ratios, plus the source styles if you want a future re-render. Use it anywhere: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Spotify Canvas, paid ads.

09 · The pitch that gets replies

Send 20 of these a day. Watch what sticks.

Personal outreach beats every ad campaign for a service this small. 10–20 artists a day, a demo instead of a long explanation.

Copy-paste DM or email

Hey [name], I built a video engine that turns a song into an audio-reactive MP4 using curated visual sets — think of them as presets, but each one is a hand-picked bundle of clips and stills tuned to a specific mood. I have five: Neon Church (electric/club), Morning Haunt (nostalgic/indie), Brutalist Grid (hard techno), Dream Sequence (ambient/haze), and System Error (glitch/chaos). €25 gets you one 30-second render in any set. €45 gets you two sets rendered so you can A/B test the vibe. Want a free 10-second preview with your track?

Lead with the set names — they’re concrete and memorable. Artists book when they can picture the result, not when they understand the technology.

10 · Publishing playbook

Five things to post before you run an ad.

Don't spend money on ads yet. First prove that strangers will pay for the result. Content is the cheapest validation there is.

A

Before & after clips

Show the song alone, then the song with the visualizer. The contrast is the whole pitch in 8 seconds.

B

Screen recordings of SWR

The engine reacting live to audio. The audience should see it's real-time, not a render farm.

C

Style comparisons

Same song, all 5 styles, side by side. Demonstrates the range without needing a new audio source.

D

Free sample visualizers

For a few recognizable local artists, in exchange for a credit. Beats any paid ad for cold-start reach.

E

2-minute tutorials

Show an artist making their own visualizer in two minutes. Sells the tool, not just the service.

11 · Read this before you sell

⚠ License clarity

Your MIT license doesn't cover the bundled media.

The SWR source is MIT-licensed, but the bundled visual library (stock footage, images, video clips) is not. Before you sell a finished video to a customer, verify every asset in the rendered output allows commercial use and redistribution in the final MP4. Also make clear that customers must own or have permission to use the audio they submit — the engine encodes whatever you feed it, and that's their responsibility, not yours. Finally, your own docs say modern Chrome or Safari with a wide window — don't promise identical output on every browser and device.

12 · The one-page launch

Here's what to do, in order.

The cheapest, most realistic path. Service first, software second.

Launch it as SWR Visualizers — affordable audio-reactive music videos for independent artists. €25–€40 for a 30-second custom visualizer service. Use campaign.html as the public demo, fulfill orders by hand, track what people actually ask for.

Once you have ~10 paying customers, convert the most common workflow into a self-service paid web app. Don't pre-build the platform before you have the demand — the platform is the easy part.

Sell promotion-ready videos, not "an audio-reactive visual engine." Customers care about the finished MP4, their release deadline, and whether it looks good on social media. The engine is your competitive advantage — it is not the thing they buy.

13 · The Belgrade advantage

Three things no US or EU competitor can claim.

Being based in Belgrade isn't a constraint — it's a wedge. Here's why.

01

Local pricing power

€25 is the cost of a single ride-share to the airport, not a marketing expense. A Berlin musician shrugs; a Serbian artist buys. Both close. The EU rate and the Balkan rate let me win the same job at twice the margin I'd get in London — and still come out cheaper than anything they'd find on Fiverr.

02

Cultural angle

The Yugo-nostalgia preset pack is unique because it's authentic, not because it's marketed. Brutalist architecture, CRT scan lines, the warm/cool color palette of late-Yugoslav design — I grew up on this. A San Francisco competitor can copy the SVG, they can't copy the intuition.

03

In-person closes

Email me and I'll bring my laptop to KC Grad, Drugstore, or Dot. 15 minutes. You bring a song off your phone, I'll have it visualized on the screen before the coffee gets cold. The free demo closes more orders than any landing page I could write.

14 · The questions you'll be asked

Frequently asked.

Do I need to own the audio?

Yes. You must own or have permission to use whatever you submit. SWR encodes whatever audio you feed it — that's your responsibility, not mine. If you used uncleared samples in your track, that's between you and the original rightsholder.

What about the visual library?

The SWR engine is open-source (MIT), but the curated visual sets are proprietary. Every asset in a rendered output is verified before delivery. If you need a fully cleared library for a high-stakes release, ask up front and I'll either swap to cleared assets or source new ones.

Can I post the visualizer on Spotify Canvas?

Yes — the MP4 is H.264 + AAC, 48kHz stereo, 30fps. Standard Spotify Canvas specs are 9:16 vertical between 3–30s. Any tier can be cropped to Canvas format for +€5.

What browsers and devices does the output play on?

Anywhere H.264 MP4 plays — which is everywhere. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Spotify Canvas, native iOS and Android. Rendering is done in modern Chrome or Safari with a wide browser window; the output file is platform-agnostic.

Do you offer refunds?

Two free revision rounds are included in every tier. If you're not happy with the result after the second revision, full refund — no questions, no friction. Single tier gets 2 rounds, Double and Full get 3, Custom gets 3. Better to lose €25 than to lose a customer.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes, for Full Rotation and Custom Source orders. Single and Double tiers include public-use rights for portfolio display. For label work or unreleased music, expect NDA + custom scope + a slightly higher rate.

16 · The next 7 days

This week's checklist.

Six concrete tasks. Total time investment: one afternoon, plus the in-person demo. Don't ship the page before this list is done.

1

Add the 7 Stripe Payment Links to the store

The links live in one place: site-map.json → store.products[*].stripeUrl — Single €25, Double €45, Full Rotation €75, Custom Source €55, PT Solo €120, PT Band €280, PT Label €600. Paste the buy.stripe.com URL from each Stripe dashboard product there (or set the STRIPE_LINKS env var at build time) and every buy button on every page goes live by itself. A tier without a link stays visibly disabled — the order form falls back to email instead of sending anyone to a dead checkout.

15 min

2

Render 3 portfolio samples in 3 genres

One hip-hop track, one ambient piece, one punk song. Use 3 different visual styles. These go in library/p_01.jpg through p_05.jpg so the #samples grid is real, not placeholders.

3 hours

3

Post a before/after TikTok / Reel

Same song, first frame = album art + audio only, second frame = the SWR visualizer. 8 seconds. Caption: "made this in Belgrade, €25, DM me." One post is worth more than a month of outreach DMs.

1 hour

4

DM 10 musicians with the pitch from this page

Copy the #outreach script above, personalize each one with the artist's most recent track, and send 10 a day. Look for people who posted audio but no video in the last two weeks.

2 hours

5

Set up Notion or Airtable for order tracking

Five columns: artist name, tier paid, Stripe link, song link, delivery date. Add a row every time a Payment Link converts. Don't build a backend — this is a spreadsheet that survives until you hit 50 orders.

30 min

6

Reach out to 1 Belgrade-based artist for an in-person demo

DM or email one local artist. Offer to meet at KC Grad, Drugstore, or Dot with a laptop. 15 minutes, you render their song live. The first Belgrade-based paying customer will come from this conversation, not from the page.

1 hour

17 · Performance ad cards

Six creatives, six angles. Post as-is.

Each card hits a different psychological angle (save money, faster results, avoid the wrong choice) and follows the proven 3-section ad structure: bold hook, visual friction, quantified offer. Built at Instagram's 3:4 ratio so you can post directly or use them as section headers in your outreach DMs.

Angle 1 · Save money · 600×800 · Instagram 3:4

Angle 2 · Faster results · 600×800 · dark mode

Angle 3 · Avoid the wrong choice · 600×800 · warm + tiles

Angle 4 · Social proof · 600×800 · stats + quote

Angle 5 · Location / Belgrade · 600×800 · dark night + map

Angle 6 · Specific persona · 600×800 · 48h timeline

Six cards, six angles. Pick the one that matches your audience, post as-is, or remix the copy.
Each card is self-contained inline SVG · no external image dependencies · scales to any size · renders crisp at any DPI.
Copy the SVG markup from View Source, paste into a Figma frame, export as PNG at 1080×1440, post to Instagram.
